well, there was an article in wired in November about how blogging was dead, because as technology is advancing, the human attention span is getting shorter. We've gone from books to movies, blogs to tweets, and it's a result of our fast paced culture. it kinda makes sense that people wouldn't want to wait to make the sex happen, and would get bored and lose interest. therefore you do the whole hook-up and then decide whether you actually want to try it out.

also, what if they're just really bad in bed? maybe we need to know now before we get to involved. take samantha from sex and the city for example. the one time she fell in love with a guy and didn't have sex with him beforehand, turned out he was tiny.

is it really sad or is it just expected? i mean, dating had to come from somewhere too right? i can't imagine that's the way it was two thousand years ago. we're constantly evolving. what if the hooking up before dating thing is just evolution trying to work faster? that's a stretch probably.

so that's what i think.

Much like you don't tug on Superman's cape, spit into the wind, or pull the mask off that ol' Lone Ranger, you do NOT question a man named Charles M. Blow.
